NW DENVER - Compassionate In-Person Therapy for Adults with ADHD & Complex Trauma
Welcome I’m so glad you’re here
From Constant Overwhelm to Grounded Clarity—It Starts Here
In Network w Kaiser & Private Pay
Release what’s kept you stuck: Identify and untangle old patterns and emotional burdens that keep you in overdrive
Reconnect with your inner wisdom: Attune to your body’s wisdom and emotions to understand what you’re feeling and why
Cultivate a deep sense of safety and inner peace: Create space for your whole Being to exhale and return to your true nature
The Space Between Chaos and Ease
Imagine a day where:
You don’t have to rehearse what you say.
You can rest without guilt.
You move through life feeling centered — not because the world stopped spinning, but because you’re no longer fighting yourself.
In our work together:
I’ll help you find that space between chaos and ease. Not by pushing you to “calm down” or manage better, but by helping you reconnect with your whole Self — your body, your feelings, and your nervous system.
And by reminding you of something many people with complex trauma or ADHD were never taught:
You know what’s best for you — once you can hear yourself more clearly again.
I know what it’s like when your mind won’t settle and your system stays on alert long after the danger is over. If you live with trauma, ADHD, or both, it makes sense that daily life can feel harder than it seems for other people.
But it doesn’t have to stay that way.
If you’re ready to stop believing you’re the problem…
If you want more space inside your own life…
If you want support that actually meets you where you are…
You don’t have to keep doing this alone.
You May Feel at Home Working with Me If:
What to Expect in Our Sessions
Therapy with me is about noticing what’s alive for you and finding ways to move through patterns that have kept you stuck.
In our work together, you might:
Tune into your body and emotions to uncover the roots of old patterns
Process trauma using EMDR, IFS, and somatic methods tailored to you
Work with your Parts to build more self-trust and self-compassion
Learn what emotional flashbacks are and how to manage them
Include movement, nature, or grounding support from my therapy dog, Leasel
Over time, you will likely develop:
More trust in their own judgment and emotional clarity
Less self-criticism and more self-compassion
Practical ways to work with the parts of ADHD that make life harder
Less charge around painful memories
A better rhythm between effort and rest
Relationships that feel more reciprocal and supportive
A sense of peace and hope that lasts beyond the therapy office
This is a space where you are fully welcome. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming and work with people of all identities.
Seasoned Clinical Expertise You Can Trust
With over 25 years of clinical experience—and decades dedicated to my own recovery from complex trauma and learning to live well with ADHD—I offer both professional expertise and a deeply lived understanding to this work.Through the years, I’ve learned that change happens when honesty is met with safety and courage is balanced with compassion. I know what it takes to move through pain toward real freedom, and I bring that clarity and empathy to our sessions.
More Than Talk Therapy: Connecting Mind, Body, and Heart
In our work together, we go beyond simply talking about your life. I’ll gently help you shift out of the constant analysis of your mind and into the wisdom of your heart and body. This is where your strength and self-trust live, and where we can reach the parts of you that already know how to heal.
I draw from evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Therapy, integrating them with Conscious Living principles. Together, these approaches can help us uncover the deeper patterns shaping your experience and guide us toward change that’s meaningful and lasting.
Grounded Support with Leasel, My Therapy Dog
To help you feel grounded, my therapy dog, Leasel, often joins us (only if you wish). Her calm, steady presence brings warmth and is an incredible support—especially when you’re navigating trauma or neurodiversity. I often joke about her "Sacred Doggo Energy” being in the room, but the truth is, Animal-Assisted Therapy offers a unique comfort that helps your nervous system settle and feel safe enough to heal.
Healing with Hope and Humor
While we address the root of your challenges, I offer a warm, down-to-earth style that leaves plenty of room for humor and lightness. Even when the work is intense, hope remains at the center of it.
You Don't Have to Keep Figuring This Out on Your Own.
You are the expert on yourself, and I’m here as your experienced ally and supporter. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about finally coming home to your Self, with more ease, freedom, and trust in your own inner wisdom.
“I believe that You are the expert on you — even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.”
A Place to Land Instead of Powering Through
NeuroSpicy adults often struggle silently, feeling pressure to “have it all together.” And living with the lingering effects of trauma and/or complex trauma only seems to intensify that pressure.
But healing requires something different — slowing down, listening inward, and allowing your body to help lead the way.
Although that may sound foreign or even scary, I will gently teach you how to land and shift from overdrive to presence and from being a ‘human doing’ to ‘human being’. This is the foundation for cultivating a sense of embodied peace in your life.
You’re not alone and you don’t have to keep figuring it out by yourself.
Let’s Get Started
If you’re ready (or close to ready, or not ready but willing) to give this a try, I’m here to guide and support you. Together, we’ll co-create a compassionate, grounded space where both your strengths and struggles are fully honored.
